Corey Hall, PT, DPT
Born and raised in Maryland, Corey grew up playing various sports. As he entered high school, he focused solely on soccer and running. Corey's passion for sports led him to pursue an education in athletic training while playing college soccer, then ultimately a career in physical therapy.

Down to his core, he wants to help others be the best that they can be. After graduating from the physical therapy program at University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Corey made a commitment to learning from the best, evolving as a healthcare professional, helping others, and teaching.

Corey was introduced to CrossFit methodology shortly after earning his physical therapy license. Corey uses CrossFit to meet his fitness goals, as well as to grow within a community of people united to fight chronic diseases. In addition to this style of functional training, Corey continues to play soccer in local Baltimore leagues and participates in road races each year ranging from 5K to half marathon distances.

Corey blends his physical therapy and fitness knowledge into a unique style of treatment that can bring a client out of pain and safely back to doing the activities they love. This type of experience will reduce the risk of recurring injuries and provide a long-term solution to injuries.

Far too often, healthcare providers tell people to stop exercising or that they can never lift more than 5-10 pounds again. Some providers focus only on the problem and not the solution. This is why Corey opened Beyond Movement Physical Therapy. Corey wants to properly educate athletes and active people on how to recover from an injury and how to return to higher level activities without limitations.

Corey will meet your problems head on. He will work with you to determine the root cause of your problem. He will help you avoid unnecessary imaging, pills, and surgeries. He will guide you back to feeling better and performing at the best of your abilities.

Cash-Based Model of PT
Beyond Movement PT chose to become a cash-based provider for physical therapy services to better serve our clients. Third-party payers put restrictions on PT services and continually lower reimbursement rates. This affects your care tremendously. This is why most in-network physical therapy clinics see such a high volume of patients, often double-booking and scheduling in 15-minute time slots.

Our contract is with you, not insurance companies. We are committed to providing you with high-quality one-on-one care that is not dictated by an insurance company. We are transparent with our costs, meaning you will not get a bill from us months later for something you thought was covered.

Furthermore, out-of-pocket expenses are typically lower for a client in the cash-based model compared to the in-network model. Sounds crazy, right?! We are able to spend more quality time with you each session, which means you get better faster. Also, if you haven't met your deductible, you will end up billed for the cost of each PT session with your in-network provider. If you have met your deductible, you are usually able to recover up to 80% of your costs with us.

Check out the example below comparing our model to the typical model:

At the end of your care, you are investing a third of the time to get better with the cash-based model of PT. You may end up spending more out-of-pocket at the time of service, however you may actually end up spending less depending on your specific insurance benefits.
Schedule with us to build a strong relationship with your physical therapist and get out of pain faster.
